A UK returnee tested positive for Omicron in Kerala
Kerala has reported first Omicron case in the state on Sunday. A UK returnee has found positive for the Omicron on the second day of his arrival.
A UK returnee, native of Ernakulam, tested positive for the new variant on Sunday, Health Minister Veena George said.
He had arrived in Kochi on December 6 from the UK after making a stopover in Abu Dhabi. He tested positive on the second day of his arrival, the minister said.
All the passengers who traveled along with the patient were put under observation.
