Ace Malayalam film director Sachy passes away

Ace Malayalam film director and screen writer K.R Sachidanandan (Sachy) has passed away due to cardiac arrest at Jubilee Mission hospital in Thrissur, Kerala. He was 48. Considered as one of the finest film makers of the new era of Malayalam cinema Sachy has credited many blockbusters to his name as a writer as well as a director.

Prithwiraj Sukumaran and Biju Menon starring Ayyappanum Koshiyum was Sachy’s last directorial venture which was also registered a record collection in the theaters.

As a screen writer, he has penned many monumental films like Choclate,Chettayees,Sherlek toms,driving licence,Run baby run  etc. His first film as a director was Anarkali and later, he directed Ayyappanum Koshiyum in 2020.

According to report, Sachy had undergone a surgery in spinal code and during which he suffered cardiac arrest. Jubilee Mission hospital officials confirmed that Sachy died of cardiac arrest at around 10.10 PM.
