Air India Announces Additional Flights Between India and UK
Indian national carrier Air India, which is operating services under air bubble agreement, has announced additional flights between India and the UK.
In a tweet, Air India announced that
- Flight from Chennai to London will operate every Wednesday and from London to Chennai every Tuesday.
- Flights on the Delhi-Amritsar-Birmingham sector will also operate from 11th December 2020 to 27th March 2021.

Scheduled international flights have been suspended in India since March 23 due to the coronavirus pandemic.
However, special international passenger flights have been operating under the Vande Bharat Mission since May and under bilateral air bubble arrangements established between India and other countries since July.
As of now, India has established air bubble arrangements with a total of 23 countries including Afghanistan, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Canada, Ethiopia, France, Germany, Iraq, Japan, Kenya, Maldives, Nepal, Netherlands, Nigeria, Oman, Qatar, Rwanda, Tanzania, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates (UAE), United Kingdom (UK) And, United States of America (USA)
