Anup Jalota to act in the role of Satya Sai Baba in biopic

Famous actor and singer Anup Jalota has been selected for the role of iconic Satya Sai Baba in the upcoming biopic which believed to personify Satya Sai Baba’s supernatural abilities and literal godliness on the silver screen.

According to the reports, the actor will portray Satya Sai Baba in the film directed by Vicky Ranawat.

“I am glad that I got an opportunity to play Satya Sai Baba, because I have believed in his ideals and principles. I have also observed him closely and read a lot about him. It required great research and playing this character will be a challenge,” Jalota said in a statement.

The untitled project, produced by Balkrishna Shrivastav, will also feature Jackie Shroff, Sadhika Randhawa, Govind Namdev, Arun Bakshi and Mushtaq Khan in various roles.

With music by Bappa Lahiri, the biopic is scheduled to be released on January 22, 2021.
