Cycling from Kerala to Kashmir with no money, selling tea en route
Despite financial difficulties and physical challenges, 23 year old Nidhin from Kerala has been on an all India travel riding his cycle, from Kerala to Kashmir.
Nidhin, who hailed from Kaloor Ernakulam started his cycle journey on January 1 aiming to travel all over the country. A person with short stature and also suffering weight loss, Nidhin set on this journey in order to prove that physical disabilities would not be a barrier in pursuing his interests.
Nidhin embarked on this journey with a pocket money of Rs.13,000 which he raised from selling his camera. After meeting the initial expenses, it was only Rs. 170 that remained in his pocket.
Not disappointed, Nidhin sold tea on road side during his journey to meet his daily expenses. His hotel experience earlier helped him make tasty teas. He was carrying a stove, flask and disposable paper cups.
People also extended a helping hand through out his journey. Night, he stays at petrol pumps . His aim is to reach Kashmir in two weeks from Delhi.
