Eco-friendly ‘Moon Retreat’ to be opened in Sharjah

Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq) is set to open an Eco-friendly resort: the Moon Retreat at Mleiha, where the landscape appears like moon.

Being conceived as a family-friendly destination, the resort contains 10 single-bed domes, four family tents and two single-bed tents with modern facilities. It also includes private pools, pre-order ready-to-grill meals prepared on the private barbecues etc.

The resort has a reception and community area where the visitors could have bonfire and barbecue experience.

The Moon Retreat is one of the fourth Eco-luxury resorts in the the Sharjah Collection brand, managed by Mysk Hotels by Shaza, and Shurooq’s second boutique hospitality.

Mleiha is also famous for archaeological and eco-tourism destination where thousands of years old fossils and artifacts are preserved in the Mleiha Archaeological Center.
