Germany to make Covid-19 negative test results mandatory for all passengers
The German government will soon make it mandatory for passengers to have Covid-19 negative test certificates on arrival and departure, German daily Bild reported, quoting government sources.
Currently, travelers from countries or regions where infection rates high are required to present Covid-19 negative test results certificates on arrival.
Earlier, the German government has warned citizens against making unnecessary travels during holidays in the wake of surging Covid-19 rate.
Steffen Seibert, spokesman of the German government, called for “refraining from any travel that is not absolutely necessary”.
