Low-Cost Flights Between India and US
India has now created air bubbles with certain countries to manage the international passenger air travel. Therefore, passengers in the country now have the options open for selecting the airlines to fly with.
As these travel bubbles have been created for removing the waiting period and not for normal air travel, the tickets are at high cost. However, many inexpensive services are also available at present.

Flights to the US
Currently, United Airlines and Air India are the two which operate services from India to US.
United Airlines operate once daily from Delhi to Newark and thrice-weekly from Delhi to San Francisco. This schedule will continue until 31st July which is the end of the first travel bubble. However, It is reported that, the duration of this period may be extended in the wake of coronavirus lockdown. United will operate 18 flights between July 17th and 31st altogether.
In comparison to United, Air India has more services to the US. The Indian National carrier is operating 180 flights until 31st August, covering all of its US destinations: Washington DC, Chicago, San Francisco, and New York (both EWR and JFK). Flights starts from Delhi and Mumbai, however have many technical stops for passengers all over the country.
United is flying only to Newark and San Francisco from Delhi.
In terms of fare, United is charging Rs.57,000 ($763) for its one-way Delhi to Newark flights and for San Francisco flights, it is collecting Rs. 67,000 ($895). As dynamic pricing is in place, there may be variations in the price especially when it comes to the closing dates.
Air India is pricing Rs.51,000 for US flights, almost 50% price fall from their repatriation services. Thanks to the air bubbles created by Indian government. However, according to reports there may be an increase in the price up to 30% during the closing hours.
