Spice Jet to operate London flights from Delhi, Mumbai from Dec 4
Indian low-cost carrier Spice Jet on Monday announced flights to London Heathrow from Delhi and Mumbai starting from December 4,2020.
The airline CMD Ajay Singh said that the Spice Jet would operate two weekly flights between Delhi and London while between Mumbai – London it will only operate 1 weekly flight.
“This is a huge milestone for us and I am proud of the fact that SpiceJet will be the first Indian low-cost airline to operate non-stop long-haul flights to the UK. London is one of the busiest long-haul destinations from India and our convenient flight timings should suit the convenience of our passengers perfectly,” said Ajay Singh, Chairman & Managing Director, SpiceJet.
Earlier, another Indian carrier Vistara had also launched flights to London. With SpiceJet, there are three Indian carriers providing flights between India and London.
