Tourism day: How To Travel Safe During The Pandemic

Today, i.e. 27th September 2021, the world is celebrating World Tourism Day. Since 1980, the world has been celebrating the World Tourism Day on September 27 to commemorate the anniversary of the adoption of the Statutes of the Organization in 1970 which led to the formation of the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO).

The day is observed to highlight the significance of tourism’s social, cultural, political, and economic value across the globe. For the last two years, tourism industry is at impasse due to the Covid-19 induced travel restrictions.

As the countries start to ease the restrictions, the travelers across the world are set to travel around the world. So, is it safe to travel during the pandemic? is the question asked by many who wish to venture out amid the Covid-19 threat.

How to travel safe during the time of the pandemic: A guideline

1. List the places you want to visit and plan the trip adequately.

2.Before deciding the places , it is better to check the restrictions and guidelines set by various countries and that will avoid unnecessary troubles.

3. Each country has set their own guidelines. Do a research, go through all guidelines.

4.Keep all the necessary documents with you as, many countries insist Covid vaccination certificates and RT-PCR test results for air travel.

5.Always keep sanitizers,masks and other essential Covid-19 precautions with you.

6.Sanitize hands regularly.

7. Follow Social distancing guidelines.

8. Try to do digital transactions as much as possible.

9. Keep foods and drinking water in your bag. Avoid unnecessary human contacts.

10 . If you find you have the symptoms of Covid-19, do not go out. Follow quarantine rules and distance yourself from others.
