U.K Scraps Covid-19 Testing Requirements For Fully Vaccinated Passengers Starting Today
The U.K decision that the eligible fully vaccinated passengers arriving in the country need not to take a post-arrival lateral flow test has come into force on Friday. This means that starting from 11th February all that fully vaccinated international passengers only have to verify their status via passenger locator form.
Earlier, Britain’s transport secretary Grant Shapps had informed the Parliament that the government had scrapped all travel tests for vaccinated people and that would make travel much easier and an average family who visited the U.K could save around 100 pound on their visit.
An official statement issued by the UK Govt on January 24, those unvaccinated passengers will only need to take a pre-departure test and a PCR test on or before day 2 after they arrival in the United Kingdom.
Moreover, starting from today, 11th February 2022 the United Kingdom allows travelers from more countries to enter the country.
