UK flights: India to continue limited operations

India has decided to continue restrictions on UK flights from January 27 to February 14. India had suspended the normal operations early December due to the alarming spread of the new strain of SARS-Cov-2 in the U.K.

Since early this month, the operations has been limited to 30 flights -15 each by both countries.
The government has now informed that this number would remain until February 14.

The new strain of SARS-Cov-2, detected first in the U.K and then in South Africa, has been found 70% more infectious than the earlier one.

Moreover, the WHO confirmed that this virus has spread over 70 countries since it was first detected.
