United Airlines adds more flights to India under ‘air transport bubble’

United Airline has announced two more India-USA flights — a daily flight between Delhi and Chicago from December 2020; and Bengaluru and San Francisco (SFO) from spring 2021.

The United Airlines Holdings Inc. also informed that they would start a Bengaluru-Seattle non-stop from this winter but due to the coronavirus pandemic, the airline has postponed the plan by a year.

United will become the only airline to fly  between San Francisco and Bangalore, India, and between Newark/New York and Johannesburg.

“United has served India with nonstop service for 15 years and now builds on its existing service to New Delhi and Mumbai with two new routes. Beginning December 2020, United will introduce new nonstop service between Chicago and New Delhi, for the first time ever, United customers will be able to travel nonstop between San Francisco and Bangalore starting spring 2021.” United Airlines said in a statement.
